BRONZE, SILVER & GOLD EXPEDITIONS
The Oxford Boat Adventure is an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme at Bronze, Silver and Gold level, both on foot and on the water. We have a hugely experienced team of DofE instructors and assessors who will ensure the successful completion of each expedition.
SCHOOLS & GROUPS
We can work with large groups such as a school Bronze cohort of 100+ participants or work with smaller groups working on their Gold. We will provide a programme that is tailored to your schools or groups needs. WALKING, CANOEING & MIXED MODE AVAILABLE
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
A full time Expedition Course Director who will be available to assist with anything before, during and post expedition.
Pre-expedition paperwork including risk assessments & kit lists.
Team Equipment including tents, trangias and gas, group shelters and first aid kits, compasses, maps, hi-viz, rucksacks and roll mats.
For mixed mode and canoeing expeditions all water equipment including buoyancy aids and dry bags (large and small day bags)
Participant and School Staff Campsite fees
Trackers for every team.
High quality training delivered at your school including useful handouts for participants.
Supervision throughout the expeditions from highly experienced, professional and friendly DofE supervisors and assessors.

INSTRUCTORS
All instructors are required to possess up-to-date qualifications from the National Governing Body that are pertinent to their specific work environment. For water-based activities, this includes L3 Coaches, Guides and Leaders in Open and White Water with land-based qualifications including Lowland Leader, Hill and Moreland Leader or Mountain Leader. Additionally, supervisors and assessors will have completed the DofE Expedition Assessor and Supervisor Training Course (EASTC).
Furthermore, all instructors maintain current certifications in Qualsafe Outdoor or Wilderness First Aid with many of our instructors additionally holding FREC 3 or FREC 4 pre-hospital care qualification. They are also hold a valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate. Instructors are continually updated on the company's policies regarding Safeguarding and Child Protection, as well as any other information relevant to the Award.
