Our 3 day Thames Adventure gives children the chance to experience a real journey by canoe, travelling along one of England’s most beautiful rivers and camping out for two nights along the way.

Led by our experienced Senior Instructors, the children will travel together in Canadian canoes, learning how to paddle, work as a team and look after themselves and each other on a journey. Along the way, they’ll develop practical bushcraft and camp skills, from setting up camp and preparing food to fire lighting and making themselves comfortable outdoors.

But this adventure is about much more than learning new skills. It’s about waking up beside the river, packing up camp, climbing back into the canoes and discovering what’s around the next bend. It’s about friendship, teamwork, independence and the wonderful sense of achievement that comes from completing a real journey under your own steam.

With plenty of time to explore, laugh and enjoy being outdoors, our Thames Adventure is a gentle introduction to expedition life – and a big adventure they’ll remember for a very long time.
